# MARKETPLACE

Our Marketplace provides a hub for buying, selling, and showcasing digital assets, fostering a dynamic ecosystem of creators and collectors. With robust features and functionalities, the MicroPets Dapp and Marketplace redefine the digital asset experience.

Trading on the Marketplace happens in our native token $PETS giving it a unique utility. With an 8% trading fee that goes back into the project as revenues for sustainability.

## How to Buy a MicroPet:

Firstly, you must purchase some MicroPets ([$PETS](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C)) tokens from [PancakeSwap](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C). If you do not know what that means you should [check out our guide here](https://micropets.gitbook.io/buying-a-micropet/)!

Then visit our custom-built [Marketplace dApp](https://pets.micropets.io/marketplace) and connect your wallet. Next simply select from either New Era, Pheonix Odyssey or 2D NFT's, then click 'Buy' on the NFT you wish to purchase. A pop-up will appear from your wallet - just click 'confirm' to finalise the purchase of the NFT.

Wait for the transaction to confirm and voila! You have just adopted your very own MicroPet, congrats! 🦮 You will be able to view your new MicroPet in your [PETDEX](https://pets.micropets.io/).

**Please Note:** If this is your first time, a pop-up may appear for a 'spending cap'. This is to allow the website to use your [$PETS](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C) tokens to purchase the NFT. Just accept the site suggested value (10B) and approve this transaction.

**Something went wrong?** Try this;\
1\. Revoke the MicroPets contract [here](https://bscscan.com/tokenapprovalchecker).\
2\. Clean cache, refresh, and reconnect to the dApp.\
3\. Go to marketplace, and redo the steps in the "[How to Buy a MicroPet](/whitepaper/marketplace.md#how-to-buy-a-micropet)" section.

## Listing a MicroPet for Sale:

When listing an NFT, there is a listing fee of 8% that’s paid immediately in [$PETS](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C) tokens before being listed, so make sure you have enough[ $PETS](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C) in your wallet to cover this fee! This solution prevents spam, ensures realistic NFT prices, while also removing [$PETS](https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x610FD1A9601CF7b1d188dBF3264738Aecc9fC96C) tokens from circulation via the fee.

Navigate to your [PETDEX](https://pets.micropets.io/), find the NFT you wish to list, and click "Sell on Market". Next, input the sale price, and confirm the transaction on the pop-up window from your wallet. Wait for the transaction to confirm and voila, you have just listed your MicroPet for sale!

You will be able to view your marketplace listings on Marketplace by selecting own from the drop down menu.

## Telegram Buybot & Listing Notifications 🚨&#x20;

Introducing the [MicroPets Marketplace Telegram](https://t.me/micropetsmarketplace)! Here, you have the opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, showcase your trading prowess, and expand your MicroPets 3D NFT collection.

We have several custom-built Telegram Notification bots that keeps our community up to date with [Marketplace ](https://pets.micropets.io/marketplace)activities! Notifications will be sent when a 3D NFT is sold, or when a new MicroPet is listed.

The free version of the listing notification bot does not show the listing price, so users have to visit the [Marketplace](https://pets.micropets.io/marketplace) to see if it's a good deal! There is a version of this bot that sends the notification 60 seconds earlier, and displays the price of a new 3D NFT listing. This is only available to users who own an [Ascension Flight 3D NFT](/whitepaper/ascension-flight-nft.md#join-the-ascension-alpha-telegram-group) and join the [Exclusive Alpha Group](/whitepaper/ascension-flight-nft.md#join-the-ascension-alpha-telegram-group). This means to snatch up the good deals, you should consider joining this group!

## MAKE AN OFFER

Make an offer on an NFT you want. The seller will receive a notifcation of your offer. You will in turn receive a notication if your offer is accepted.&#x20;

## Private Sale

The private sale feature was specifically designed to prevent scams and sniping, enabling users to easily sell to each other.  To use the private sale feature, you will need the wallet address of the user you are intending to sell to.

Simply tick the 'Private Sale' checkbox when inputting your price for sale, then input the buyer's wallet address and confirm as normal. You will be able to view your private marketplace listings in the "Marketplace".
